Big Ass Muskegon Downtown Public Hockey Game February 6, 2010
It's free! So why not?
In conjunction with the Jaycees Snowfest, there's going to be a ginormous street hockey game with 50 balls and a gagillion people in Downtown Muskegon. Game starts at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 6th. Come to the game! Maybe find romance! A good pal. Put to rest some long forgotten transgressions. Find personal salvation! Achieve total enlightenment! Work from home! Get rich quick! Wait. Scratch those last two. But all the other ones apply. The point is, it'll be a fun game and a great excuse to get out of the house, breath some crisp air, grab a few drinks with friends at the Tipsy Toad, and see what's going on in Downtown Muskegon.

I mean, sure, the snow seems nice and peaceful now, but come February you're going to be stark raving stir crazy. Time to get outside and engage in some winter mayhem with hundreds of your fellow Muskegonites downtown. The Main Street Hockey Experiment is going to be a...a...hold on, I need to get this right:
'Muskegon’s First Urban Experiment! Be a part of the largest street hockey game ever! This spontaneous experiment will involve a massive street hockey game with over 50 balls and wild mayhem, in conjunction with the Muskegon Jaycees Snowfest and the Muskegon Lumberjacks game. Come one, come all! All you need to do is come at 2:00 p.m. Sat February 6 to Western Ave, between 4th and 5th Streets, downtown Muskegon with a hockey stick. Game starts at 3:00 p.m. Participants will need to sign a waiver in order to play, and parents/guardians must sign waivers of anyone under 18. Take your phone down and go viral with your first memory of 2010!"
Yeah. That. An urban experiment. But more than that, a game. You can play. With other people. It'll be fun.
